Proxy Parent Foundation, a dba of Planned Lifetime Assistance Network (PLAN) of California, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; steps in to help the public system provide people with disabilities a way to thrive, rather than just survive.

MIssion and vision

Community engagement is at the heart of Proxy Parent Foundation’s mission. As part of our commitment to education, outreach, and advocacy, we regularly participate in resource fairs, conferences, workshops, support group meetings, and community-sponsored events throughout California.

These events provide valuable opportunities to connect with individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, service providers, attorneys, financial professionals, and community organizations. Through these interactions, we are able to share information about Special Needs Trusts, public benefits preservation, future planning, and the many resources available to support individuals and families.

We believe that building strong community partnerships is essential not only to our growth as an organization, but also to expanding awareness and access to services that can positively impact the lives of those we serve.

Whether we are presenting at a conference, exhibiting at a resource fair, participating in a community event, or collaborating with local organizations, our goal remains the same: to educate, empower, and support individuals and families in planning for the future.
